PROFILES: THE BAND
I can’t remember the details of why I came up with The ENDOCANN Band. I needed something fun to draw as I wrestled with pivoting to illustration-only services in summer 2021 (record scratch I was still too scared to do it).
The ENDOCANN Band is a cannabis art brand committed to bringing visual flair to the industry. Namely, I want my art to shut people up and take them out of their typical experiences.
So, this project is all about fun. Of course, there’s education involved when it comes to the chemistry and knowledge about each molecule. But cultivating the music aspect and personalities are crucial to giving you an original experience in the legal world of cannabis.
Each character has their own story and I plan to illustrate the Band … Doing stuff. This is gon be a visual storytelling ride.
ABOUT THE CREATOR:
I’ve been working in the cannabis industry since August 2018. That was also the year I became a medical cannabis patient in Maryland. Initially, I started out as a copywriter with blog posts and interview articles, moved into social media, then creative strategy before I allowed myself to settle into illustration services.
